OUR VISION

Faith, Family, and a Future

Charlotte is on the path to becoming like once great cities that have been taken advantage of and forgotten because of non-business principles. Daniel Schmidt stands for a return to common sense, focusing on our growth, traditional safety, and the American values that made us great. We must restore our community for its people.

Recent wins:  The NC GOP has made promises and Kept them!

The 2026 Budget deal has accomplished:

1) Pay raises for Teachers (Largest since 2006 & #1 in the SE for starting teacher pay)

3) Tax relief for North Carolinians

4) COLA Bonuses for State retirees

5) Pay raises for Law Enforcement

Key Issues

01

Safety

Restoring law and order to Charlotte by fully supporting our police and ensuring specialized security in critical areas (public travel).

02

Costs

Combatting inflation and soaring living costs through fiscal responsibility and business-first economic policy. I support reducing home and income taxes and putting a cap on how much the Gov. can take.

03

Education

Empowering parents and focusing on core truth-based curricula that prepare our children for high-skills success.

04

Housing

Increasing housing supply and affordability by cutting red tape and enabling market-driven growth in 102nd District. Making trade schools the first choice for after High School career path!

05

Values

Upholding the traditional American values that foster strong Faith, family, and community resilience.

06

Transportation

Optimizing Charlotte's infrastructure to reduce congestion and improve connectivity for all workers.

NC LEGISLATIVE FOCUS

The NC Republican House is dedicated to fiscal responsibility, streamlining state government, and protecting constitutional rights. Our current focus remains on ensuring a robust economy, safe communities, and excellence in education through targeted legislative action and oversight.
